I sit in my locker room with Dark Angel sitting beside me. We had been like this for a few hours now, talking intermittently and trying to figure a few things out. The match with T had gone so far wrong from what I wanted that I was almost disgusted with myself. Angel and I had been talking things over for awhile now.
Cloud:Thank you for stopping me from killing T Money. That was not what I wanted to do.
I see out of the corner of my eye that she smiled at me. I had said that exact sentence numerous times, it had to be getting on her nerves.
Angel:I told you already, I can't have you going to jail, I need you in my life!
She had said that numerous times, but I still couldn't wrap my head around it. Did she want me back in her life, as in being together again, or she just needed me around?
Angel:Cloud.
I knew why she had said my name, she wanted me to look at her. I took my time trying to clear my expression, before I looked into her eyes.
Angel:What do I mean to you?
That caught me off guard. That was not what I was expecting, such a simple question, but not one I had ever thought she would ask me again. Not after I attacked her before leaving Ring Wars. I thought I had devastated any chances I had of having that life. I looked straight back into her eyes and answered honestly.
Cloud:The world. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't regret walking away from what we had. I wish I could erase what I did to you.
She simply smiled at me for a second before leaning in and kissing me. The sensation that followed was even less expected than the kiss. An electric charge surged through my body, not one that I could remember every feeling before, and then I could feel the venom pulse in my blood. My hands flew to her hair and I crushed my lips to hers. She reacted in an unexpected way, she reacted in the exact same way I did. He hands found my hair and crushed me into her. We forced into each other for a few seconds and then pulled apart. I knew the color of my eyes as I looked into hers. Mine were a deep crimson red, and as I looked into her eyes I could see the fire in them that the unfortunate people in the past were so afraid of. I flashed my brilliant white teeth that had now grown a set of fangs.
Cloud:That was interesting.
She simply nodded in response, and I waited for the venom in my system to recede, like I knew it would. But that part never came. I remained in full form, but completely in control of it. Maybe I had found the key to unlock it to my control.
This could mean Trouble for the rest of REW, what will come of it? Stay tuned to find out.
