Starting next week, REW will be taking on a new form of judging matches and RP events. From that point on, a point system will be implemented in order to easier judge matches and gauge your progression as rp'ers. The system goes as follows:
Post will be judged on a scale of 1 to 4. Each of those numbers is to help you and myself determine your overall score for the match. Remember each post is scored so make them count, or half ass them, it doesn't matter to me. I've seen a guy win matches by half-assing 24/7, and his half assed posts were better than most peoples normal posts.
As an example of how a match will go we will use Cloud Strife and Tahti Kuu.
Let's say Cloud and Tahti are fighting for a random title, and each had put up five posts.
Cloud's post in order ended up:
(1) Pre-match- 3.5
(2) Entrance- 3
(3) Match Post 1- 3
(4) Match Post 2- 3
(5) Match Post 3- 2.5
So the inevitable total for Cloud's posts ended up, (3.5+3+3+3+2.5)= 15. So for this match, Cloud collected 15 posts.
Tahti's post count ended up:
(1) Pre-Match- 4
(2) Entrance- 2
(3) Match Post 1- 3.5
(4) Match Post 2- 4
(5) Match Post 3- 3.5
So her post total ended up as follows, (4+2+3.5+4+3.5)=17. So for the match, Tahti collected 17 points.
By comparing points, Tahti collected more points (17 to 15) which means that she wins the match and the title.
See, its really not a complicated system. For tag matches and other matches with more than two members it works the same. For tag matches, just add your collective totals together (i.e. the amount of points each of you have after the end of the card) to get you score.
Example:
Jayson Ray and T Money v Satanic Mantra
Jay= 18 points total
T Money= 20 points total
Total for the team= 38 points
Dreamkiller= 15 points total
Freakula= 15 points total
Total for the team= 30 points
The winners of the match: Jayson Ray and T Money.
The system is realatively easy to understand and works out rather well. So, after reading this, reply that you understand the rules.
Rock On,
