The Share Holders Meeting (Sara Sirius, JMW, REW)

[Tommy Sirius]

We join the newlyweds Aaron and Sara Sirius within the confounds of their new home, that resides on some private islands just off the Florida coast. The two of them, sitting on a large sofa, look through a box of papers; some of them photos of their wedding and some just random business papers. Aaron, sporting a pair of reading glasses, quickly shuffles through some papers; laying some on a table before him and some through a shredder to his side. Sara sits beside him doing the same. Though as she reaches the last paper in her own pile, something on it grabs her attention and she quickly shoots a look to Aaron.

Sara: "Hey baby, this one has Tommys name on it...looks very important."

Aaron lays his stack down, bringing and arm around Sara and pulling him to her as he reads over the paper. As he scans over it, his eyebrows rise and a small smile stretches across his face.

Aaron: "Oh wow, that is his will. And there is something there that I failed to notice last time!"

Sara: "Really? What is it?"

Aaron looks over to Sara, a large smile on his face.

Aaron: "We need to call the lawyers and the REW administration..."

*A few days later.*

Lawyers: "And I assume that you'd like to take your biological fathers shares as well?"

Aaron Sirius: "Wait, what?"

Lawyer: "Yeah, aside from inheriting your fathers shares because your mother has been institutionalized...your biological father has dissapeared and there for isn't able to take care of his shares...so there for it is passed down to his next alive kin...and unless he has any other children...which according to our records he doesn't...they go to you as well."

Aaron Sirius just sits back, turning to look as his lovely wife.

Lawyer: "And of course, with the two of you being married that means these shares of the company belong to the both of you."

Aaron: "And this isn't reversible unless there is consent from the both of us?"

Lawyer: "Correct."

With a smile, Aaron leans forward and signs his name upon the dotted line at the bottom of the new contract. Turning he hands the pen to Mrs. Sara Sirius and she does the same.

Sara: "So with my already owned shares, and the shares he just inherited...that makes us..."

Lawyer: "Fifty Percent owners, the highest collective shares of the company."

Sara lays her hand over Aarons, the two sharing a large smile.

Lawyer: "Seems to me, your future in this company just got brighter."

The lawyer said with a smile and nod, though just as the joy was rising in the room it was quickly sucked away as the door to the room opened and in wobbled the REW World Champion and fifteen percent share holder....John Michael White.

He enters the room and upon seeing Aaron and Sara, nearly turns on his cane and leaves. But his nurse behind him stands in his path, giving him a look and motioning him to sit down. With a sigh, JMW stalks forward and takes a seat across from the REW Extreme Champion.

JMW: "And what pleasure, *sarcasm* do I have of being here?"

Aaron just sits quietly, locking eyes with JMW with a very Holiday-esque shit eating grin. So much so, that it makes JMW slightly uneasy.

Lawyer: Well Mr. John Michael....seeing as how you are a fellow share holder of the REW, hence your power, we are legally bound to notify you of share changes.

JMW doesn't say anything, just looks at the lawyer.

Lawyer: So with that said, the two you see before you...now own fifty percent of the REW shares.

JMWs face goes colorless for a slight second, though quickly he composes himself.

JMW: "You know...I don't even want to know how the two of you managed this....but couldn't this have been told to me with a phone call? Instead of making me travel all the way out here?"

Sirius: "Oh, but that the only reason we wanted you out here."

JMW: "Of course not."

He says with an eyeroll as he sat back in his chair.

Sirius: "You see JMW, holding the most collective shares of the company just isn't enough...we're going for all of them. And I wanted to give you the chance to make it easier on you."

JMW: "Easier on me?"

Sirius: "Yes...easier on you. You see, now that we own half the company...we do have the right to over turn any of your decisions. And seeing as how you'll be defending your title against Trash soon...I figured you'd want to make things easier on you."

JMW: "How?"

Sirius: "Well, by selling us your fifteen percent of the company."

JMW just raises an eyebrow, not ammused at all.

Sirius: "We've already wrote up a heafty offer here, plenty of zeros and we may even let you through in a few extra clause if you want."

Sirius say, pushing a paper across the table to JMW; turning it for him to read.....

--John Michael White looks at the offer. It's... reasonable. Surprisingly so. Given their penchant for aggression and their general attitude, he had expected Sirius and Stone to offer an insulting sum, a big fat zero, or just a rude word. This... well, it was a little above market value, and he was not likely to get market value on the market, given how REW's shares were being hammered at the moment. It would not allow him to buy a solid gold limo and hire fifteen hookers to escort him to the ring every night, but it was something. When you live in Detroit, a little liquidity to launch an escape is always a good idea.--

Andrea: John, you've been stressed, you've been off your game, you have obviously become depressed. I came back because I could see you needed help.

--John Michael White looks at the pen sitting on the desk, waiting for him to sign. He flicks it onto the floor.--

Sara Stone: Oh dear...

Aaron Sirius: And I thought you might see sense.

Andrea: John, don't be a bloody martyr, you're--

--John Michael White reaches into his shirt pocket, producing an elegant silver pen. He scribbles his name in one fluid motion, uncoiling his signature like a snake. Then, it is done.--

Andrea: Oh.

Aaron Sirius: You signed? Really?

John Michael White: Really. Do you have any idea what it has been like, being a minority stakeholder with a majority of the responsibility around here? I could do with a break.

--Aaron and Sara exchange a glance, a little uneasy. That was not as hard as expected, not one bit. This must be part of the lawyer's plan...--

John Michael White: Oh, you expected me to be upset? You thought I would throw the paper in your faces? You offered me money, and I'm a lawyer. What did you think would happen? I took the offer, and I wish you luck in your future endeavors in bringing this place back from the brink. But let's not be churlish - you might have sixty-five percent of the bits of paper that say you own this place, but paper always loses to gold.

Sara: Though it does always beat rock.

John Michael White: ... that's quite true, yes. Anyway, rest assured that even without my name on your paychecks, I own you two. I am your world champion and your fortunes rise and fall with me.

--John Michael White rises from the table, resting on his cane. He nods politely to his hosts, then offers his arm to his nurse.--

John Michael White: Thank you for your kind offer. And thank you, in particular, for letting me thrown in an extra clause... or two...

--As the lawyer ambles out of the room, Sara and Sirius pounce on the papers, looking for just what that sneaky son of a bitch has added in to the contract.--

As Sara and Sirius read the paper they see an important note.

It goes like this,

| Note : Per agreement of this contract, the number one contender for the REW title for three consecutive shows will be REW superstar Sung Ho. No one but Sung Ho can challenge John M White, especially not Sirius. Sung Ho's shots can not be overruled by new REW management. |

Sirius : FUCK! U gotta be kidding me. I am going to run this place and I cant even give myself a title shot? And Im forced to give 3 title shots to Sung Ho? This is bullshit! This is unbelievable! This is...

Suddenly stereotypical asian music plays and Sung Ho breaks into the room.

Sung Ho : "This is...Sung Ho!"

Sung Ho tries to crane kicks Sirius over the table but Sara low blows him.

Outside the office John M White giggles like a three year old girl.

JMW : "Heh Heh, all I have to do is beat that rookie up and my gold is gonna be safe in the near future. He has no chance to beating me! But thats just the start of my stipulations!

Is the tables goin to turn on JMW ?

When will the tables turn on JMW you ask?

Well, one possible answer is never because its JMW you're talking about and if a table is trying to turn on him, he's probably already selling it off to somebody else for a tidy profit and a good reputation.

But this is not one of those days.

Standing there, ahem, giggling like a school girl, breaking character out of sheer amazement at his brilliant plan of...well, giving Sung Ho a push, John M White does not see the figure emerge from the shadow.

On his shoulders falls a pale hand. A voice, like the warm breath permeating a frosty winter air whispers.

Trash : "Aren't we forgetting something John? A few weeks ago...or was it months...I happened to win the number one contendership for your title. You wanted Sirius to beat me, you wanted Sara to beat me, but your efforts failed. You're not used to failure, so you crashed. You broke. You shattered and left your pieces to be picked by Sirius and Sara. Now you're giving a slew of title shots to Sung Ho, some rookie who has yet to win here in REW and wouldn't have lasted a week in the TraG ?

You've lost your marbles John and its that title you have that's caused it. I am here to relieve you of that heavy weight...and as a lawyer you should know that we had a contract.

John laughs, taking Trash's hand off his shoulder and spinning around, eyes staring at the Sanity Assassin, hands nervously fidgeting the cane in his hands.

John M White : "A contract? Show me. I was perhaps acting in haste when I said that you would be number one contender if you won the title. Maybe I was joking. Maybe I never said that at all. Where's your proof? The only thing on paper is that in the new age of REW, Sung Ho is the number one contender for the forseeable future. Not you. Not Sirius. Not Sara. Not Slater."

This time it's Trash's turn to laugh.

Trash : "Yet...there was a contract and I have it on paper. But I won't show it to you because I know you'd rip it up. I'm saving it. Keeping it in a vault...you know why John?"

John M White : "Because it doesn't exist?"

Trash : "No John...because its my potent weapon at breaking you. You see, John, you use your status of a Lawyer as a knight wielding armor. But I'm about to chip...maybe break...maybe take away that armor, and then your title shall be mine.

See, John, your misdeeds, your tricks...are about to catch up to you. What I have in my little vault is proof. Proof of unprofessional conduct. Proof of behavior unfit for a lawyer. Proof of violation of your oath. I've been collecting, as you've been boasting...and now it's time to let the cat out of the bag so to speak.

John, I am going to have you DISBARRED! "

John M White pauses, eyes going wide at the suggestion. No one has ever suggested to cause John to lose that which is most valuable to him...his good name as a lawyer, his profession, his life, his passion, his license to practice law!

Could Trash really do it? Could John be persuaded to follow Trash's demands? Is Sung Ho out of luck?
And what about the loverbirds of Sirius and Stone?
