good job bro, great work bro....no...not really. I could drag my ballsack from one side of the keyboard and back to the next and manage to write a better roleplay then you. So how about this REW....unless he is your opponent (only because this salution would cause you to lose to him) if management don't want to erase his shitty roleplays...ignore him. Maybe then he will get the message and acually want to listen to tips and advice...then one day...just maybe one day he could write on the level of this guy.

Ok, enough everybody. First of all, as much as Demonas/Phantom might annoy more conventional players, there is no need to continually antagonise him and try to hound him out of the game. There is also no need to bring up physically or mentally handicapped individuals as an attempt to dehumanise him. That's unacceptable. The disabled are not a punchline.
Also unacceptable is blatant disregard for any and all advice given, whether it was given politely or not, in an attempt to get a player to improve themselves and integrate better into the fed. Phantom, I want every player to have fun here, including you, but you have to recognise that this is not the Draven Demonas show. It's not all about you. What part of this are you having difficulty understanding?
I want to draw a line under this right now. Phantom, stop screwing around in the chatbox and stop derailing other people's work with blatantly fantastical posts. Everybody else, stop riding Phantom like the town bicycle. He deserves the chance to post and be dealt with respectfully like any other player. Just remember, Phantom, that you have to show that respect in return and not turn everybody else's characters into your own personal puppet show. I've recommended this several times. You won't get another chance, but I won't tolerate anyone else tearing into you out of character.

I agree wholeheartedly with JMW's thoughts on this, as you can probably see by my comments in the cbox. I've been trying to coach Phenom in the background and he has improved and has taken my advice into consideration...so I think this is totally unnecessary.
I was also offended by the attempt to make fun of Phenom at the expense of a disabled person.

And now my thoughts...
*YAY!*
First and foremost that I was taught from Dozer and Triple X that has been part of me from then on, I NEVER go fully out of character unless you catch me on AIM or perhaps in a serious PM. Why? My name is Aaron Rothgeb, away from here none of you know me except personally except Dreamer so this is like Vegas, what happens here stays here and now I've rambled and forgot my point....
But, with the situation at hand on Phantom and me feeling royally screwed out of my Main Event match and Grudge match with Draven Demonas who I will not claim to be the same person or any other previous player for I have been warned...on this go around with the last post, though the quality was not up to par he did exactly what I would have done years ago...
He made a mockery of the situation, he pissed a lot of people off but most of all on his behalf, he got/made heat and he got "Main Event" attention which is the attention he needs IF he is willing to learn from his matches. If it weren't for JMW, Trash, and Dreamer I would never improve or stay sharp and even I have to admit my skills are extremely dull today from what they were in RW 2.0 playing with Dozer, The Rac, Worship, Kyzer, Mr. Sinister, Cherokee, etc because staying on the top of your game isn't hard here when you're me.
So instead of ignoring him as much as I would have liked to do, and instead of getting angry and personally attacking him to make the problem go away, I merely floored him in his last post. For my personal reasons, and again I'm not saying the two are the same, I view Phantom in the same light as Draven Demonas...and we all know (Unless perhaps we researched which I DID do) Draven Demonas is not here because Aaron Holiday ran him out because he wasn't able to accept the defeat and by my bitch!
So now Phantom being the poor soul that he is has had my frustration taken out on him, perhaps he'll get even, perhaps he'll do more to me than I did to him....but in the end it doesn't matter beacause Aaron Holiday is done...no more wrestling, matches, and if not for the "Death" of Dreamer you wouldn't be hearing from me now.
But this rambling does indeed have a point if I can recall it and I think that it is, like Trash said and maybe others....He's no different than us when we started out in RWTG or wherever. Could we shun him and carry on? Yes probably but we still need him like anything needs fresh water, batteries or in this case a game with fresh players to strive and be healty. He might not be the pretty plant in the garden but he is at least the dead rotting shit to fertilize it and make it grow. Give constructive critisism in your posts and maybe step OOC in a helpful light and progress the role plays...

hmm...well to be honest...his stuff he is doing id done blantly to aggrivate and derail our stories...it would have been one thing had he stay in context as to what my thread was about...he could have gave a negative mean or nasty thoughts of Sirius...but you know whatever. My responces to him OOC will stop, sorry you all took offense, but hey my opinion on him stands untill he can show me something else. yeah we all started somewhere...and I was horrible when i first started...but no one cradled me...coddled me...or protected me. It was me and holiday, the whipping boys of DHS...untill we improved enough...listened to advice...and stopped with the stupid roleplays and showed these guys what we were capable of.
OOC, im done with him...but In Character...he's mine.

Good posts, Trash and Holiday (EDIT: And Sirius). For the record, we can be clear about Draven and Phantom being the same person since they're using the same account. If, for example, someone were to flounce off and come back using a different account yet suspicions were raised that they were the same person, outing them wouldn't be kosher. I don't want to get real technical with rules though, the issue is simply that trying to out people just drags us into the past and tends to cause even more arguing. It's best to avoid it.
I have always disagreed with the mentality that whatever happens in the game is all part of the game. I honestly feel that is simply an excuse for bullying. While you might tell yourself and like-minded people that calling x person a retard because they cannot spell is part of the game and just drawing heat, that doesn't make it true. Not everyone can shut off their feelings. Not everyone wants every interaction to be confrontational or to have to swallow insults and belittlement because other people have just carte blanche decided they have license to throw them out whenever they feel like it. Just as Draven needs to learn that this is a cooperative game where we need to be mindful of other people when posting in character, we all should remember that when we could be thought of as out of character as well.
It is certainly true though that we all started out pretty rough around the edges and likely a little too big for our boots. Who didn't want to shoot straight into the main event and noise up the establishment? I built two careers on it. The issue is Draven has shown no willingness to learn or cooperate and I'm going to put my cards on the table, I have my suspicions he is a troll. Some of his deus ex machina stuff is a little too well crafted to be just someone who is overenthusiastic and ignorant of how to play.
Prove me wrong, Draven. You've already popped up in main events; let's see you earn titles and most of all respect by pulling yourself up from humble beginnings like we all have had to do.

Holiday, I understand why you're mad and feel the need to defend yourself, but stop rising to the bait and cluttering up the cbox. Anyone coming to the fed and thinking of joining isn't going to like to see a lot of bickering and name calling.
Draven, Holiday didn't nosell you. He interpreted your fantastical elements in a more realistic manner by suggesting that it was smoke and mirrors and your character only appeared to vanish into thin air, but instead headed to the side of the stage. That's a pretty common tactic that is used by players who prefer a more grounded and realistic game, and the more skilful ones will make sure to maintain a little ambiguity so as to not totally derail someone else's character. This is wrestling, after all, and not Dungeons and Dragons. Roleplaying that you are capable of certain supernatural feats is fine, but it has to be in a wrestling context. Undertaker and Kane and throw fireballs and lightning around in a feud, for the sake of a particular angle, but they don't do it every match. It's accepted in wrestling as some form of trickery for the sake of mindgames, because if they could just throw lightning and teleport and all that all the time, no one could actually wrestle them. That's the problem you're causing: you want to be all powerful all the time, but that makes you impossible to work with. This is a game based around wrestling, and if no one can wrestle you, your character is in the totally wrong environment.
Holiday also didn't kill your character, though I can see why you'd interpret it that way. I certainly thought he had done it the first time I read the post, but your character's fate is left pretty ambiguous. Really, this was a gift from Holiday; you should have been able to sell that easily, but selling would require letting your character show some semblance of vulnerability. Either they died and you invoke some supernatural doohicky to revive them, or they lived but are seriously wounded and need to recover and regroup. The fact that you couldn't do this and your first impulse was to lash out in the chatbox tells me you are still not learning anything from the multiple people who are trying to help you. I don't want to be a hardass boss on a powertrip, but I want to see some contrition and I want to see you are willing to listen to the advice of other people. Post it here, not the chatbox. If I see you post in there again you're done. If you don't apologise, you're done. I don't want to turn away active players, but you're not playing the game, you're dictating the game. I'd rather have less activity that one player riding roughshod over everybody else and refusing to listen to anyone. But I also want this place to be welcoming to newcomers who might not know exactly what they are doing. So if I see anyone bitching at Phantom/Draven in the cbox, OOC board or even the flashboard if I think it's a poorly veiled OOC attack, they're suspended. This ends now.

So I take it my version of doing the DHS X-Mas party is out of the question?
Also, thank you John for obvious reasons and for Draven or whoever you are...I didn't intentionally set out to piss you off, make you leave or want to quit...I merely find its often easier to teach others first hand then explain things to them so I merely gave you a taste of what I went through so you could feel first hand what its like when others do that sort of thing to your character.
I've played in 100's of feds over the years and most now days won't even let you include another ringer without their permission, even if you were to just RP them inside an ice cream store eating a scoop and that's because of issues like we're having now.
I'm proud to say I've taught and helped shape at least half of the REW roster of present and past and they were much like you...and many of us so called vets were once upon a time. A guy I learned the most from was a man who's character was larger than life and with the matches I got to RP with him mainly consisted of me letting him kick my ass the whole match and what I gave myself in those posts was the ability to keep getting back up which put me over in the end even though I lost the match was the fact I took everything he could give and I still kept wanting more.
I for one and I'm sure I speak for others refuse to buy in to supernatural characters, perhaps their traits and gimmicks but this isn't World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy or anything other than a wrestling game. I play this game because it revolves around a sport I love and it gives me a creative outlet to exercise my mind. My problem with Supernatural characters are they have no end, when anything is possible you can never win or lose though I would be willing to participate in a match of that caliber if there were some sort of boundies.
