Samuel Colt, most known for his invention of the Colt .45 pistol, a gun the revolutionized history, was famous for his guns but to think that was the only thing he invented, Guns, would be only half true to the legend of who he was.
Samuel Colt was a hunter and was also prey to being hunted. Most of his legendary legacy has been kept secret and for those who have heard the truth would only believe they've been told a tall tale.
But of the many things Samuel Colt made, did, and left behind there is but one man left in this world that knows the full extent, his grandson of many generations gone by that only bears his last name as his first, The Young Gun, Colt Winchester.
He had been on his trail for three weeks, always just a step behind but tonight he had been given a good tip as to where he would be. The man he was after was a well known gambler and like most he bet a lot more than he had for the big payout that never quite paid off. For months he went further and further into debt with a loan shark whom he had borrowed money from yet again for what would be the final time betting all of his money on a wrestling match.
A smile of pitiful stupidity was etched onto the face of The Young Gun as he sat outside of the REW Star Maker Arena. The fool who he was after made his way to the ticket stand as suspected and Colt couldn't help but think how stupid the man was for betting on a sport that was fake.
The Young Guns feet hit the pavement as he rose from the bench he had been sitting on for nearly an hour, after weeks of waiting it was time to bring his man in and get paid. By nature Colt Winchester was a hunter, a hunter of many things but as of late the only way he could make a living was by working for clients such as the loan shark he was working for tonight. He was one of the best at what he did and could easily get a job as a cop or detective but there were far too many rules and protocols to follow and the pay was nowhere near what he made now by brining in guys o pay their debt versus a cop who would only arrest them if they were caught.
He moved at a quick pace and closed the gap between himself ad his target and at last as they walked into the lobby of the arena his man was within his grasp.
"Mark Hayse, you're coming with me!" He said in a loud and firm voice as he put his hand on the mans shoulder. Mark, the man he was after quickly looked around for an escape route but with so many people it was hard to see anything.
"They sent you to take me in and make me pay huh? Look as soon as this show is over I'll have all the money. I thought for sure Aaron Holiday would beat John Michael White in the title match." He replied with a tone of nervousness in his voice.
"All bets are off except the one where you can bet that you're coming with me."
Mark in a panic looked around once again and grabbed a full drink from the hands of another fan and threw it into The Young Guns Face and turned on heel to run.
"I hate it when they do that!" Colt said to himself as he reached inside his leather jacket and brandished a custom Colt pistol and fired the first shot, a blank, into the air and the crowd dove to their knees and Mark looked back and froze in his tracks out of fear.
"That's your warning shot, the next bullets is real." Colt said with a smile on his face as he marched forward to claim his man.
Still frozen in fear Mark asks, "Who Are You?"
"I'm a Son of a Gun and I'm taking you in."
From his backside however Colt is taken to the ground by REW security for obvious reasons and they drag him off leaving his man free to go.
