REW Starmaker arena, something I haven't set foot in for a long while now, but here I am. Why am I here? Because some dumb kid decided to open his mouth claiming he was the best. How do I know he is wrong? Hall of Fame.
This year the staff and ringers of REW decided to accord me the honor of being one of the two men to gain that coveted title. That title is in jeopardy of being tarnished. Why? Because Jayson Ray couldn't show last week, and this punk kid got a win on a shoestring. Something the looked worse than what I leave in the toilet on a daily basis.
Time to teach a lesson.
Cloud:Hit my music.
The techie that hears my words and turns around nearly has his eyes bug out of his head, and then hastens to comply. You never know who you are dealing with when I am around. That all depends on how mad I am, and at the moment my face is a cold mask.
Rebirthing by Skillet explodes from the speakers in the arena and within seconds the crowd is out of their seats screaming their heads off. The curtains part, and I walk out onto the ramp. The noise in the arena intensifies.
Simon:Holy hell, Cloud just walked out of the back of the arena. What on earth could he be doing here?
Allyson:You honestly can't be that dense. Did you even pay attention to things going on backstage? What Thunder said about Jayson Ray? My guess is that Cloud is hear to speak his mind about how a rookie is treating a HoF'er.
Still the cold mask on my face as I reach the ring and slide in. I pop to my feet and pace the ring a little bit. After about fifteen seconds I pull a mic from my back pocket and wait the extra ten seconds for the crowd to quiet down. I raise the mic to my mouth and pause marshaling my thoughts.
Cloud:REW, I return to you now a Hall of Famer.
The crowd pops.
Cloud:My first order of business is to thank all of the people involved in this company. The staff, the ringers, and most of all the fans.
Another pop from the masses whom are still on their feet.
Cloud:For without all of you, none of what we do here would be possible. I have had feuds with some of the best this place has seen. Blake Worship.
Pop.
Cloud:T Money.
Another pop.
Cloud:Aaron Holiday.
A huge pop.
Cloud:The other Hall of Fame inductee this year, Jayson Ray.
An even louder pop.
Cloud:I've rubbed shoulders with great men such as John Michael White.
Another pop, see this is what you call getting the crowd into it. Are you paying attention yet?
Cloud:So when someone decides to disrespect something in this company that everyone covets it ticks me off!
No pop from the crowd, the cold mask is gone, the anger is what you can see now. Anger at someone new to this world that thinks he can run his mouth.
Cloud:I of all people in this business know a win is a win, but to blatantly make it seem like it is some accomplishment to beat a Hall of Famer because he didn't show up to the match, when you are so clearly no where near his level is something I can not tolerate.
I begin to pace the ring, like the predator I am. I once compared myself to a wolf, I was wrong. We are kings of our jungle, we are lions. We are deadly predators.
Cloud:I know I haven't been around in a long time. I know I am probably rusty as hell. I know I have no right to be in a tournament for the World Title, but apparently Thunder thinks he is big shit. So I say this, Thunder if you think you are the best why not put your slot in the tourney on the line? Against me!
The crowd again roars to life. The prospect of seeing me back in the ring a huge thing to them all.
Cloud:So what do you say? Care to step into the ring with a Hall of Famer? One who will show, and one who will put you in your place?
I pace the ring silently for a short time letting my words sink in.
Cloud:Take your time, I am going to stick around. Lets see if you have the balls to step up to the words you've been saying.
I drop the mic in the ring as my music hits the speakers again. I exit the ring and walk backstage.
Simon:Bold words from a man who hasn't been seen in the ring in over six months.
Allyson:Cloud has proven before that no matter how much time he is out of the ring he can step back into it and show us what this business is about. I am sure he will not let us down this time.
What will come of this? Stay tuned to find out.
