So I've played this game a very long time and I think its missing a lot of things that made it great years ago. I have learned from some of the very best in this game and can mirror most of their styles dead on. I think it'd be cool to just see some of the old stuff brought out and switch it up from the same song and dance every week.
I was starting this week with Dozer but because of my opponett I thought my second choice of Aaron Holiday was more fitting since I beleive he was the one who actually won the first or created the first strong style championship in UVCW?
Anyways just wanted to see what you guys thought

To be honest in UVCW that title was MY title because it was of a normal variety. As much as I love the hardcore and extreme shit I wanted a multi-talented belt and Tommy Sirius and I came up with it.
However in your feedback, I wouldn't exactly call imitation an original idea but if you did put the effort into it the role play would make for a nice read. Your post cracked me up a bit, but other than that you didn't sell me.
More than anything I hate wasting a match on promo and would rather go straight to the ring, my reasons are because EVERYONE seems to have to be interviewed and they imagine themselves as their characters that people actually want to see an interview from every week when that's not that case, not even in real life wrestling. However for the real wrestlers like The Rock, Triple H, Jericho who had amazing mic skills it was diffrent because that is something special they brought to the plate.
Now granted I know you were merely panning out your guidelines so to say as to what you were doing so we could all follow along, BUT Aaron Holiday would have at least showed for that match, even if it was an extra ten lines at the bottom of your post!

I agree with Holiday that getting out to the ring and getting some match action rolling is very important. Waffling endlessly is something I've been guilty of at times but generally it's tough to start match action when opponents don't show, and opponents not making it to the ring seems to be the main problem I see in e-wrestling today. Not just here, but over in GFed there seem to be a lot of places that don't even want to see match action, and everything is built around promos and vignettes and winding stories. Off-card stuff is cool and I'd like to see more of that here, but wrestling is what brought us all to the dance, so it'd be cool to see more of it. My match with Holiday recently was a great workout, and I had missed coming up with innovative spots and stuff to do inside the ring. It's fun and match posts don't have to be real long and wordy, just so long as stuff happens that we can visualise as part of the contest. DreamKiller is a guy who cuts right to the action (pun intended) so maybe you could start up a program with him.
