Outside the beloved REW arena there is a man that can be seen standing in the parking lot, wearing a full length trench coat, despite the warm weather outside. The wind is blowing steadily as the man shifts his weight from side to side for a moment before starting to walk towards the arena.
His walk is that of a man determined, but just as he reaches the doors he hesitates. Was he ready to come back again, could he handle it after being away for so long? A moment of indecision and then he extends his hand the rest of the way and opens the door.
Once in the light of the hallway spiky blond hair can be seen. Anyone who knew better knew this man. He was one of the best that REW had seen, and he had been absent for quite some time now. But that is the past, this is the present, and presently he was now standing in front of Scotty Ravens office.
Without knocking the man opens the door and steps in. Scotty who is in the middle of a phone conversation starts to say something.
ScottyWho the hell do you think... I'll have to call you back.
The first few words were said to the room, the last few were into the phone before he put it back on the receiver. The smile that then spread across his face was broad.
Scotty:So you finally decide to come back to us.
A smile spreads across the face that holds startlingly blue eyes.
Cloud:Yes I am back, and I was hoping that you would be willing to take me back on. I never said my absence would be permanent.
Scotty shifts some papers on his desk and indicates the chair in front of it, signaling Cloud to sit. He however just shakes his head.
Cloud:Just wanted to stop and say hi. I have some things I want to get to.
Cloud turns to leave but what Scotty says next stops him in his tracks.
Scotty:I could talk to Jaxson and get you put on this card.
Cloud raises his eyebrows at the name.
Cloud:Kyzer is here as the Mish? This may turn out to be more fun than I originally thought. But no, I have some business this week. I just wanted to make my face seen and get settled back in. I'm sure I will be in the thick of things soon enough. Have to get my title back and all, you know?
Cloud smirks and exits the room, off to only GoD knows where.
Things are about to get interesting around here.
