I ask this question to you guys because I am preparing a pitch to Fox, Disney, and Cartoon Network for a new children's/teens television show that is a throwback to the Power Rangers of old. I don't mean Zeo and Turbo, I mean the ORIGINAL rangers that 97 percent of us know and love. Hopefully I can sell the idea and start the series cause kids nowadays are too busy eating fucking twinkies and playing the stupid-boxes and crapstations to watch something that might entertain while subtely educating them.
So if you could give me some feedback I would really appreciate it.
Yo Bo, Jayson Anton Ray aka Ray
PS. I don't know when I'll fully be back. If shit hits the fan, I might be done for good and I completely mean it yo.

I voted old school over new school, when it came down to the original Power Rangers, Jay Ray. I like the older version better than the new one, in my book it was the best that and I thought the chick that played the pink ranger was attractive lol.
Do you really need my age and name? if you do then here it is..
Name: Matthew Age: 22
happy hunting Jay Ray and Good Luck promoting your new series..

I prefer the old Power Rangers. This isn't to say that I still enjoy that show. Well, I might, but only because I see how ridiculous and funny it is. But yeah, I used to enjoy Power Rangers when I was a small pup. I don't think it would be any different for today's generation.
Though I don't know that Power Rangers ever educated me. It was just a bunch of dudes and chicks beating up bad guys and stuff. It kind of put violence in a positive light so, I'm not even sure that the series is good for kids. Lolz. But again, I did enjoy it. I remember re-enacting the show with one of my friends in pre-school on a daily basis.
BTW Jay Ray you need to make up your mind and particularly you need to stay.

I voted for the old PR. It's not the most accurate answer in my case, because from a writing standpoint I have definitely liked some of the more recent expansions of the PR series. They come out with a group of Rangers with a really good storyline behind them like every few years or so, the rest suck donkey nutz as Jonny would say. So, since I can't pick and choose in this vote, it's the classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all day.
And you already know my age, Avery. :-p

okay since i was the only not voting for the old stuff then i better explain myself. As the feds resident old geezer (28) I was a teen when MMPR came out. I did enjoy the first season or so but i then stopped watching (afraid one of my peers would find out i liked it and have it added to the long list of things that i got made fun of for). Now, I no longer give a fuck what they think but really havent seen much of it after about midway through the 3rd season. For those who don't know, the one that played Trini (the original yellow ranger) died in a car wreck the week before 9/11 (and she was cremated the day before). Just thought that would be some interesting trivia info while we are on the subject.
