I have been doing some serious thinking about taking myself out of this game. I have been thinking about dropping Freakula, Mickey and Nikki out and taking some more time out of this game. I don't think that I am ready anymore for REW anymore give me your thoughts on this matter.
I might consider staying but I don't know if I will or I won't, just give me a little feed back on this and your thoughts on this matter.

Kid, pay attention and I'll pass on the advice of Legends. Perhaps not on the boards or IC but if you want help I can guide you. K.C. James, Cloudstrife....they're some pretty big names here that years ago use to be nobody but I helped them, I shaped them, and I showed them how to bring out their full potential and in the end they've even taught me a thing or two and that's how this game is suppose to work.
Nikki, Mickey, Freaky and floppy along with the rest of the gang of mis fit toys are cool to have around but they'll get you no where. Put all the effort into one character and make that character someone to remember. You can have 3 or 4 good and decent characters or you can work towards having 1 great character that makes a diffrence and sticks in peoples minds.
Once upon a time long long ago there was a place called Ring Wars and in this magical land there were 4 kingdoms, MWEW, SCIW, CWA, and CEW and yours truly was sure to have a character in all the above. Granted I may have held both tag titles as Aaron Holiday in MWEW, sent to the finals as Hellian in SCIW and held the CWA "Something" title as Ra I never kept em long or made it anywhere because my attention and time were devided too much! I made a decision and stuck with Holiday in MWA and won some more titles, got the Brass Knuckles title re-issued and left after being screwed out of a World Championship match that me and my opponent graded as me winning but Posh wouldn't have it.
Somewhere in that I'm ranting but that's beside the point, the point is it made me better and I got further and I learned more about the game than I ever had when I could focus on one spot.
My last bit of advice, make a character people can work with all the time, that has profound traits...NORMAL not freaky supernatural traits, but something like honor, pride, sense of morality or everything against it for that matter. Someone people can recognize and easily adapt with that when you get them it's not a pain in the ass to try to sell everything but a fun feeling of enjoyment. Johns kicked my ass a LOT and I LOVE every match we have...shit comes up a lot and I have to bail at the last moment often but it drives me harder to beat him.

I do agree with parts of what Holiday said. However, no matter how many times he says it, it was actually the mentoring of a few different people that led me to where I am. But Holiday was certainly in there to call me a ReeF and give me a run for my money time and time again.
Like I mentioned previously Freak, you gotta invest what little time you have into one character. Maybe even revolutionize yourself by creating a whole different persona.
Holiday & I, both know what its like to stretch yourself across numerous feds as different characters. While it was fun while it lasted in the end we've both learned how to invest all that energy into one great character. For me, K.C. James, for him 'The Outlaw' Aaron Holiday.
Do we still whip out old characters from time to time, absolutely, but we also know when we can without drawing ourselves too thin.
IMO I think you should def stick around Freak, this place could use you and there's plenty of people here would be more than willing to help you in any speedbumps.
-Best, K.C. James.

This is the crucial advice that I would echo - traits that your character has, that are well defined and evident in your posts, make them memorable and make it fun to RP them with someone. I know from his posts that Holiday is a rough and ready guy who will hit first and ask questions later, and when having matches with him I'm able to write him in that style. He knows that I always try to outthink my opponent (even when a baseball bat would do the job better than a brain) and will write me as trying to worm my way out of getting smacked down by him. We know each other's strengths and weaknesses, largely through fighting so often, but also because we have defined our characters to have certain strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. JMW is known for liking karaoke and getting off on outsmarting people, but he's also known for being vengeful and having a bum knee. Maybe it would help to write down a list of what your characters are meant to be known for, and what makes them tick. You don't have to show it to anyone, but keep it in mind when writing your posts, and try to inject those traits into what your characters do and why they do it. Just as an example, maybe Freakula hates dogs because of an incident as a child. You don't need to explain the incident, though you might want to, but if you happened to come across a dog (JMW has a spaniel called Natalie that pops up now and then) in a post, then that's an opportunity to add a little flavour to your character by having them react to it. When building a character, it pays to be interesting. If wrestling were real, obviously everyone would want to be the biggest, meanest, strongest dog in the yard, because then they'd win all the time. But that's not how wrestling works, since success is driven by a combination of how the crowd respond to you and who's daughter you're sleeping with (zing!), and we're in an environment that makes it a bit confusing because we are actually competing with each other to try to win. However, none of this is physical, so we're not winning by being tougher than everybody else, we win by writing more compelling or entertaining posts. Think of it like Superman comics - it wouldn't be exciting if Superman had no kryptonite, because there'd be no peril, no danger of him ever losing. As soon as the problem was introduced on the first page, you'd know he would just use his brute strength to solve it, so why keep reading? So it makes characters significantly more interesting to read about if they have a flaw or two, some weakness or vulnerability. It doesn't necessarily have to be something crippling like kryptonite, it could be the flipside of a usually positive trait. A character might be really big and strong, but it makes them slow to move and they have trouble using regular objects like spoons and chairs, for example. But if a character has no weaknesses and can swiftly undo anything done to them in another's post, then that other is going to quickly get worn out and not feel like roleplaying, because they know the ending before they begin - whatever they do will be nullified immediately. That's not to say you should just let people abuse your character, but rolling with what someone does tells your opponent you acknowledge their contribution to the match, and gives you license to respond in kind. If a wrestler spends a whole post carefully orchestrating a plan keep supernatural forces out of their locker-room and then supernatural forces just turn up anyway, hand-waving their way through the whole plan, then the original poster wouldn't be too pleased to then get beaten up. But if the supernatural foe pokes their way through using a genuine flaw in the plan, or otherwise roleplays the situation (maybe they realise they cannot enter and just yell through the door, or they acknowledge their character doesn't know about the plan and walks into the trap) then the first poster will be feeling a lot more generous about letting themselves get beaten a bit. Wrestling, online and in real life, is about giving and taking, and both parties have to be willing to do their part to make something work. Steamrolling through all problems because you want to come out on top in every single situation just leads to sour feelings, rather like if two wrestlers met in a real ring and one refused to sell for the other and tried to have all the offence. Now, sorry that turned into quite a lengthy post. I hope it provides some help, and if you're ever looking for any more advice, feel free to PM or IM me. We'd definitely not want to lose you here in REW, because we need fun, friendly players like you, and there's nothing wrong with your posts that a bit more careful planning won't fix.

I have been planning this under the veil of things, about me leaving the REW. I will be now running a great character hopefully he turns out great that is. The name is Dark Wolf or The Native, as his Nickname. I appreciate everyone's insight on this matter and I am looking for anymore help. With the character that I will be trying to focus everything in on, just so everyone knows Freakula, Mickey and Nikki will be held on the back burner. This character is basically in touch with his spiritual side but he doesn't have no super powers.
